When and where was the last time you’ve played in New York City?

I think the last time I played NYC was in January at Le Bain - we did a Bromance night at Nouveau York. Since then so much has changed in my life, so this is a really special homecoming, a good landmark.

Are you excited to be back and to be playing at Webster?

I am thrilled to be at Webster. Playing prime time main stage here is a right of passage for anyone trying to come up in NYC! I grew up going to Webster and Girls & Boys and Trash are both seminal parties in my own history with nightlife. This is very special to be here with Bromance.

Do you plan to hop on the vocals at some point or will you be strictly DJing?

I guess we’ll see. Realistically, probably sticking to DJing. When I start to incorporate vocals (definitely in the cards long term), I want it to be practiced, confident, special. I don’t want to do it just because, I want to do it because it is powerful and extraordinary. Might be good to have a mic on hand, ‘just in case’ though. I find the muse often doesn’t RSVP.

What is your favorite track to play at the moment?

The tracks from the Transcend EP are still a big rush to play. When I was working on them, Louis said “You just have to make the biggest track you play every night”, which sound daunting at the time. I feel like I succeeded though. It’s still a thrill to watch people respond.

Is there anything you want to tell your fans before you step behind the booth?

I love you very much. So excited and grateful to share this music with you.
